Yamla Pagla Deewana is an upcoming comedy film directed by Samir Karnik, starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol in the lead roles. The film is produced by Samir Karnik and Nitin Manmohan under the banner of Top Angle Productions. The whole Deol family is coming together after their last sports hit, Apne (2007). The film has completed shooting and is expected to be released on 24 December 2010, close to Christmas. Yamla Pagla Deewana is a family drama of a man in search of his estranged family. The movie is about Sunny's journey into his past and into a culture that he had left behind. Dharmendra and Bobby play a crooked father-son pair based in Varanasi. Sunny plays an upright man married to a Canadian living in Canada who gets to know after two decades that he has a father and brother in Varanasi. Dharam Singh (Dharmendra) and Gajodhar Singh(Bobby Deol) are two con men of Banaras who target innocent people and live off their money. It is a comedy, action and romance genre based flick which begins in Canada and travels to Banaras and eventually makes it`s way to Punjab.
